Talk about serendipity....I've just returned from the bookstore....picking up those last minute gifts. I think that it is quite okay to treat myself to a new book (although i already have six in the queue. A thought comes to mind of a review about a book...a trilogy...and I can not remember, no matter how hard i try....not even while i treat myself to a coffee. I'm sitting there wondering how i'm EVER going to remember what this was...and then thinking that i never will, it's gone from my mind, i should know better and write these things down. After returning home, putting on the kettle for tea, i decide to randomly read blogs, as i often do...just linking from one to the other. Yours immediately catches my eyes when i note that you, as i, are reading Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke. No one i know is reading that, nor do they express any interest in doing so. Their loss i say. Okay, now here comes the serendipidous part: in your queue list...there it is... The Gormenghast trilogy by Mervyn Peake.

Thank you! .... and Merry Christmas :)
You did indeed run out of Ms - but you beat Kevin by 1!
Merry Christmas to both of you.
