The return

Yeah, yeah, I know. I said I would do the NaNoBloMo thing of blogging every day in November, blogged for six days and then stopped abruptly for almost two months. Clearly the only acceptable excuse would be if I had been kidnapped by aliens, taken to a distant planet, escaped and then spent the intervening time trying to hitchhike home again.

In a startling coincidence, that is exactly what happened. So let's say no more about it.
