Milestones

There's about four inches of snow outside at the moment, and gaining. (Hands up if I'm the tenth person in the UK to have told you this morning that it's snowing? Thought so.)

My French lesson at uni should have started half an hour ago, but 45 minutes beforehand the tutor sent out an email (after I'd already decided not to go in) saying it was cancelled. It would have been short enough notice anyway (if I'd been on the bus I'd have walked out the door 3 minutes earlier), but she only has email addresses for 4 of us and asked us to pass it on if we knew anyone else's email. Good good.

In the last few weeks I've become a member of the Guild of Accessible Web Designers, which means that this site has been vetted, tweaked and deemed good enough evidence that I know what I'm doing when it comes to accessible web design. Which is nice.

And bent back tulips turned four years old in... early December. I completely forgot about it, but today is its 50 month anniversary (should that be... um... 50th mensiversary?). I like round numbers. Maybe I should have checked 22 days ago, when it would have been 1500 days.

(Let's not go into how many of those 1522 days have actually contained blog posts.)
